I love it! I'm also 13 and honestly I thought the character was kidnapped or something. My only critiques would be to vary your word choice. For example you could say "Someone was walking at a slow pace, quietly and carefully" instead of saying slow again. Also you say footstep a lot and walking. Other than that it's really good so far!
