Help!! I've had a really BAD hair experience!!?

I've been red before then dyed it dark brown, last night I bleached it and put red on it, let's just say its far too bright for me, so I'm either going to buy a plum colour today or get another dark brown, will this take because of the bleach or not? Please help I hate my hair and need advice :(
