Is it bad to grow many different kinds fruit trees in your yard?

i have a backyard about 100ft by 40ft. i was planning on planting all kinds of fruit trees (apples, oranges, plums, peaches, nuts many kinds!) but then i thought about pesticides and problems and im not much of a gardener so would it be bad planting many different fruit trees in my yard? any pros or cons? thanks a bunch.
